CapMetro has a plan to start having buses come every 10-15 minutes along Manor Rd., Martin Luther King Jr, Blvd., Enfield Rd., East 7th St., Metric Blvd., William Cannon Dr., Stassney Ln., and South 1st St., and many others; but the board is having second thoughts. If you support having frequent bus service along these major streets, please sign below and send a message in favor of this bold new plan.  For more information on why this is a good idea, please read here.

More frequent service on William Cannon would eliminate having to make the choice between waiting 45 minutes for the next 333 bus or walking home along a road that is very risky for pedestrians.

I support more frequent buses, even if it means reducing some routes. I also support more dedicated bus-only lanes and transit signal prioritization .

Frequent bus service along S. First is critical to South Austin, especially if CapMetro is going to reduce service on #5 (Which we do not support. Neighbors use #5 for getting downtown and back at night and for special events… while S. First is over 3/4 mi from interior neighborhood houses )

I am signing because the new frequent network would triple the number of frequent routes in Central East Austin, where I live. Frequent service on MLK, Mabor, and 11th street would be incredibly important to me!

Better public transportation options are essential to affordability and to providing congestion solutions in our city. I support this.

Also, stop having over an hour lag in night pickups for the 22 bus, etc. That puts your patrons at further risk at night if they just miss the bus and are stuck on a bench for over an hour. NOT SAFE !!!

This would be great. We’d use it more often if it was more frequent. Thanks!
